Black Country History Day 2018

The Black Country History Day is taking place on Saturday November 10th at the University of Birmingham. This event is jointly organised by The Black Country Society and the Centre for West Midlands History at the University of Birmingham and is open to anyone who is interested in the history of the area. The BCS promotes interest in the past, present and future of the Black Country.

This year presentations will include: 'Can the Metro Save the Black Country?', 'Bilston and the Trade in Lunacy', 'Hodson Shop Collection of Clothing', and 'BCLM: Forging Ahead'.

The day runs from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

The cost is £22.
