History Days at the University of Birmingham
/The Black Country History Day and the Birmingham History Day are both taking place at the University of Birmingham in November.
On Saturday 10th November, the Black Country History Day will take place. Organised by the Black Country Society and the Centre for West Midlands History, the presentations this year will include: 'Can the Metro Save the Black Country?', 'Bilston and the Trade in Lunacy', 'Hodson Shop Collection of Clothing', and 'BCLM: Forging Ahead'.
The Birmingham History Day will be held on Saturday 24th November. Presentations will include an update on plans for Birmingham Museums, book launches, news from Birmingham Archives and updates on a variety of local community projects.
